03/11/2009: Manchester United-CSKA Moscow 3-3 (Champions League)
CSKA Moscow took a surprise lead at Old Trafford in the 25th minute when Alan Dzagoev once again showed his quality with a terrifc left footed strike from a tight angle. Four minutes later United equalised through Michael Owen who looked a little offside. Two minutes later CSKA retook the lead through Milos Krasic. Almost straight after the restart United were left with a mountain to climb as Vasili Berezutsky headed the Russians into a two-goal lead. Paul Scholes pulled a goal back after 84 minutes, heading home from Gary Neville’s cross. Antonio Valencia’s deflected shot in injury time secured the draw United needed, and Deividas Semberas was sent off for CSKA late on to add to their misery.
