Olympiakos parked the bus for most of the first half at the Emirates, but Gervinho’s low drive broke the deadlock before the interval. Olympiakos hit back on the stroke of halftime courtesy of a brilliant header from Kostas Mitroglou. Lukas Podolski restored Arsenal’s lead with a low shot that squirmed through the keeper’s legs in the second half. Aaron Ramsey capped off Arsenal’s home win with a late wedged third at the death.
