Siena move ahead against Inter when Innocent Emeghara finished a cross in the 21st, but Inter replied immediately as Antonio Casano’s cross missed everyone to nestle in the net. Siena were quickly back in front in the 28th when Alessio Sestu curled a golazo into the far top corner. Inter were in deep trouble in the 55th when Chivu was sent off after giving away a penalty, and Alessandro Rosina made no mistake from the spot.
