An early Alberto Paloschi penalty put Chievo 1-up at Genoa, and Alberto Paloschi doubled the Flying Donkeys lead in the 21st minute. Ahmed Said pulled a goal back for Genoa before the break, but Alberto Paloschi chalked up his hat-trick before the break to re-open up the 2-goal cushion. Genoa rallied after the break when Bosko Jankovic thumped hom a half volley, but Chievo sealed their victory when Adrian Marius Stoian scored in the 90th.
