Martin Harnik lashed Stuttgart into a surprise lead with a brilliant volley. Thomas Muller and a thumper from Toni Kroos turned the match for Bayern inside two minutes. Bayern finished the first half on a high as Luis Gustavo netted a third with a fine low strike. Three goals in six minutes at the start of the second half (47, 49 & 51) sealed the rout. Mario Mandzukic grabbed the fourth. Thomas Muller the fifth. And Bastian Schweinsteiger headed home number six.
