Ghana took the lead when a corner was sent to Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu who flicked the ball up and volleyed it into the top corner from 22 yards. Guinea levelled on the stroke of halftime as a speculative cross from Abdoul Camara arched over the Ghana goalie and into the far top corner.
